Hey! Thanks for coming to the site. We're here to protest against the unfairness of the International Olympic Committee (IOC)

DeAnna Hussein -as well as the rest of the Iraq Team- have been training to be compete in the 2008 Olympics, to be held in Beijing, all year. DeAnna's family and friends all supported her decision, and she was told that she would be able to participate. Last week, however, the IOC told her that she wouldn't be able to participate. She was devastated. How would you like it if your son, daughter, husband, wife, best friend, or whoever trained all year for the most exciting event in their life, then have someone tell them that they couldn't just because of where they were born and raised? I would be furious. The Olympics is supposed to be a competition against all countries, not just certain ones that somebody thought should or shouldn't be allowed to compete. Come on people, if we can get enough people that think this is unfair also, we can start a petition and allow Iraq to go to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. This is America, we're the country that isn't supposed to discriminate against race, size, height, or anything. Let us know what you think!
